St. Louis County's 2008 Project Homeless Connect Event
Wednesday, November 5, 2008 is the date for the third annual Project Homeless Connect in Duluth. The event will be held at the DECC arena with free parking and shuttle service for individuals who wish to attend.
2007 Quick Stats
- Nearly 400 people received assistance (compared to 245 last year)
- Individuals and families were assisted in securing permanent & transitional housing
- 34 individuals received haircuts on the day of the event
- More than 25 people were able to secure ID's and/or Driver's Licenses on the day of the event
- 84 influenza vaccinations were administered at the event
- More than 100 people received medical care, including foot care, cholesterol tests, blood pressure checks, and vision screening
- More than 105 volunteers provided 590 total hours of assistance at the event
