How can you help end homelessness in Ramsey County?
1. Volunteer
There are many ways to offer your time in support of Heading Home Ramsey or other local efforts to end homelessness.
Examples of needed volunteer opportunities include:
- Once a Year Project Homeless Connect Volunteers (http://www.stpaulconnect.com/)
- Project Home - Overflow Emergency Shelter Volunteers (http://www.spacc.org/index.asp?Type=B_BASIC&SEC={8EBAC8F8-177B-44F3-A150-AE4C70E1A94C})
- Homeless Program Volunteers - Over 30 homeless programs that have need for volunteers
- Action Team Involvement (see below)
- Policy Change Advocates - help inform local, state and national elected officials regarding impact of homelessness on your community and support efforts for change. (East Metro Faith Community Policy Initiative and MN Coalition for the Homleless).
