Business Task Force
We are committed to engaging businesses in taking a step toward ending homelessness in Minnesota
The primary roles of the Task Force:
Increase business involvement in ending homelessness in Minnesota by involving business leaders in the Task Force, getting new businesses involved in proposed activities, increasing the efforts of those already involved and combining efforts of businesses to increase overall impact.

There are three main pathways we recommend for your business to get involved or increase your level of involvement:
Raise Awareness
- Learn more about the issue and help others to understand.
- Host a brown bag lunch for employees.
- Organize a tour of a local shelter or affordable housing program.
- Host an event with your local chamber, professional, or fraternal organization.
Volunteer
- Share the time and energy of your employees.
- Lead your employees in a volunteer effort with a local housing organization or outreach effort.
- Get involved with the next Project Homeless Connect in your area, providing one-stop-shop services to those experiencing homelessness with the help of hundreds of volunteers.
- Recruit colleagues to join in the commitment to end homelessness.
- Support Heading Home Minnesota with a financial contribution. Give today.
- Support employee giving though a matching gift program.
- Donate products or services to a Project Homeless Connect event or to a local organization.
To tailor one of these opportunities to your business interests or with an idea of your own, please contact Megan Harms at (612) 335-3586 or meganharms@headinghomeminnesota.org.
